There will be a 5K race at 3 PM on Saturday 8/13, just before packet pickup begins.

Summary: Help us raise awareness of VAD and stroke! Proceeds from the 5K race will help support stroke awareness. See the VAD-Ass project webpage for more information.

Distance: 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) - The course will follow the Eureka Waterfront Trail from the Madaket Plaza to Del Norte Street, continue to the end of the Del Norte Pier and then return to the Madaket Plaza.

Date: Saturday August 13th

Start Time: 3 PM

Fee: $25.00 Register at Race Roster

Age Groups: This will be a fun run. Every runner will get a bandana with our 2022 artwork

Start Location: At the foot of C street on the Bay (Madaket Plaza)

Finish Location: At the foot of C street on the Bay (Madaket Plaza)

Parking: In old Town Eureka. There is a gravel lot at 1st and D, and there is plenty of free and unrestricted street parking and city lots on Sundays.

Packet Pickup: Available both Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.
